Ukraine is facing a sharp cold snap from September 20: forecasters warn of frosts

Today, according to the forecasters' predictions, during the day in Ukraine, except for most of the western, Vinnytsia and Odesa regions, there will be brief rain and thunderstorms in places. In the Carpathians, there will be fog in places at night and in the morning. The wind is eastern and northeastern, 5-10 m/s.
The temperature at night will be 11-16°, during the day 21-26°; in the south and southeast of the country at night 14-19°, during the day 24-29°.
Weather forecast for Kyiv
In Kyiv and the region, there will be variable cloudiness. During the day, there will be brief light rain in places. The wind is northeastern, 5-10 m/s. The temperature in the region at night will be 11-16°, during the day 21-26°; in Kyiv at night 13-15°, during the day 22-24°.
In the third decade of September, a sharp change in weather conditions is expected. After September 20, cold Arctic masses will come to Ukraine, and the first frosts on the ground may be recorded in the northern, eastern, and western regions. Precipitation is expected to be 20-40% less than average values throughout September, which may create risks of drought, especially in the Left Bank region.
The weather on September 8 in Ukraine will be variable, with brief rain. The temperature at night will range from 11 to 16 degrees, and during the day – from 21 to 29 degrees. Hydrometeorologists also warn of potential dry weather risks in the last decade of September.
