Ukraine is expecting a sharp drop in temperature after September 20: forecasters provided a forecast

According to forecasters, no precipitation is expected today either. The wind will blow mainly from the northeast at a speed of 3-8 m/s.

The air temperature at night will be 9-14°, during the day – 21-26°. In the west and south of the country, 12-17° is expected at night and 24-29° during the day.

Weather forecast in Kyiv region and capital

In the Kyiv region and in the capital, variable cloudiness is observed, but precipitation is not expected. The wind will blow from the northeast at a speed of 3-8 m/s. The temperature at night in the region will fluctuate between 10-15°, during the day – 23-28°; in Kyiv – 13-15° at night and 25-27° during the day.

The third decade of September promises a sharp change in weather conditions. After September 20, cold Arctic air masses will invade Ukraine, and the first ground frosts may already be noted in the northern, eastern, and western regions.

Throughout September, less precipitation is expected (20-40% less than usual), which may lead to drought risks, especially in the Left Bank regions. This increases the likelihood of fires, particularly in areas with insufficient moisture.

The weather on September 5 is promised to be almost precipitation-free, with variable cloudiness and warm temperatures. However, the coming days may bring cooler atmospheric conditions and reduced precipitation, creating risks of droughty weather.
