The government has expanded the list of free medications: what has changed for patients

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved changes to the National List of Medicinal Products aimed at state procurement and reimbursement of medications. This time, the list has been updated with a focus on the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, endocrine issues, and mental health.The improved list includes modern drugs for the treatment of arterial hypertension and heart failure, which help lower blood pressure, reduce the workload on the heart, and decrease the risk of heart attacks. Also, the list has been supplemented with medications for the treatment of dyslipidemia, fungal infections, as well as drugs for endocrinology and mental health, which will simplify patients' access to necessary treatments.
