According to hvylya.net: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, spoke at the youth forum 'Youth Here' and put forward an initiative to raise the age limit for free crossing of the state border from 18 to 22 years. He instructed the government and military command to develop this issue.

“Currently, there is a restriction up to 18 years; I propose to raise it to 22 years so that there are no restrictions when crossing,” said the president.

According to Zelensky, this initiative will allow young Ukrainians to maintain ties with Ukraine and realize themselves in education in Ukraine, promoting educational mobility among youth. He also announced possible changes to the admission system for higher educational institutions, including the possibility of a winter admission campaign for applicants.

“There was an idea, in particular, for a winter admission campaign, so there is no need to wait a year in case you can't pass in the summer for some reason,” explained Zelensky.

Moreover, the president announced an increase in scholarships for students starting next year, although specific amounts and timelines were not specified.
