The Ukrainian company AirNet has introduced a new net system to shoot down hostile drones. This system, equipped with a radar, automatically detects and captures approaching enemy UAVs within a hazardous distance. The captured drone gets entangled in the net and remains attached to it, allowing the operator to safely transport it.
Moreover, this system can disable any drone with propellers, including large UAV models. Its cost is quite low – about 50 dollars per shot with the net, making it accessible for widespread use.
In the past, Ukrainian military forces have successfully used FPV drones to destroy Russian UAVs. Now there is another effective tool in the fight against hostile drones, developed by domestic specialists.
