According to Главком: Ukraine's recent revision of electricity price caps has allowed cogeneration units to restart operations and improved conditions for investments in distributed generation. The previous reduction in maximum prices, implemented on April 1, had a detrimental effect on the market, causing most cogeneration facilities to shut down. Following a meeting, the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NKREKP) adjusted the price caps, marking a crucial step toward restoring economic incentives for investors.
