Spain has allocated 1 billion euros for the defense of Ukraine: what will be included in the packages

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to Spain for its support and readiness to provide assistance. Spain is fulfilling a bilateral security agreement, providing annual support amounting to one billion euros. As part of the new defense aid package, Spain has planned to supply missiles for air defense, with a total cost of 300 million euros.

During a meeting with the Prime Minister of Spain, the defense cooperation between the two countries was discussed. The focus was on Spain's readiness to assist Ukraine in the context of ongoing Russian strikes. Ukraine will also receive economic assistance from Spain amounting to 200 million euros, which includes support for the energy sector.
