Khostikoyev recalled that after the unsuccessful performance, his wife was visibly moved and felt compelled to apologize.

“I saw her eyes, and she hugged me, and my heart just... skipped a beat,” the actor remembered.

Their Secret to a Strong Relationship

Khostikoyev and his wife make a conscious effort to keep their work and personal lives separate, which he believes is key to their successful marriage.

“Recently, we’ve started drawing a clear line. Once we’re home, we relax and avoid talking about work. We’ve come to understand how crucial that is,” Khostikoyev explained.

He also emphasized that actors tend to understand each other better than people outside the arts.

“I don’t have the right to criticize. Maybe I can suggest something. Yes, Nastya gives me advice, and I give her advice,” the actor clarified.

He also stressed that he doesn’t interfere in other people’s lives, as acting is a deeply personal craft.

“I generally don’t meddle in others’ affairs,” Khostikoyev concluded.
