According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian athletes continue to amaze the world with their successes at various international competitions. In particular, taekwondo athlete Maksym Manenko admitted that his inspiration is the experienced boxer Oleksandr Usyk:
Don't rush. The goal was to show that I am the best in my weight category at this tournament. This is a preparatory step for the world championship, which will take place in two months.
Also in Madrid, at the European Youth Olympic Festival, Ukrainian swimmer Makar Yakhno won a gold medal in the 1500 meters freestyle, demonstrating impressive skills and endurance.
