Explosion in Zhytomyr Region: number of injured has increased to 82 people

According to glavcom.ua: As a result of the explosion in the Zhytomyr region, 82 people have been injured, including four children. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the statement of the head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Bunechko during a telethon.

It has been officially confirmed that two people have died. 38 injured are in hospitals with moderate injuries. Bunechko reported that among the injured there is one foreigner, a citizen of Japan, who has also received the necessary assistance, shelter, and treatment.

It is noted that as a result of the explosion, about a hundred houses have been damaged, a quarter of which are completely destroyed. The investigative team worked all night and continues to work. A survey of the houses is ongoing. The fire has already been extinguished.
