November 24: Blackout schedules will be in effect again across Ukraine
Tomorrow, November 24, residents of all regions of Ukraine will again face blackout schedules. According to 'Glavkom' citing 'Ukrenergo', certain hourly blackout and power limitation schedules will be applied.
'Ukrenergo' warns that these schedules may be subject to change. Exact information about outages at specific addresses can be found on the websites of regional electricity suppliers and DTEK. The schedules will also be published by local authorities and heads of regional military administrations on social media.
Ukrainians are urged to use electricity sparingly during times when it is available. Recent information indicated that a key generation block was damaged in the Chernihiv region.
In the current conditions of increased threats to Ukraine's energy infrastructure, it is important to have a readiness plan for planned, emergency, or prolonged power outages, especially in winter. 'Glavkom' provides advice on how to properly prepare your home, stock up on essentials, and know what to do in case of a power, heat, or water outage.
