Brothers Alexander and Yuri Boyko, owners of the company 'Avtomagistral-Yug' from Odessa, have become the subject of a police manhunt. Information about their disappearance was published in an investigation involving the 'Glavkom' resource titled 'Golden Pipes. The construction of the water supply to Zelensky's hometown ended in a scandal.'

The police conducted 50 searches both at the company's offices and at the brothers' residences just days before their disappearance in June 2025. During the searches, important documentation, mobile phones, computer equipment, and other information carriers containing data about the criminal scheme were seized.

Currently, the embezzlement of over 240 million hryvnias has been confirmed. However, according to investigators, the losses could amount to several billion hryvnias. At present, five participants in the deal have been declared suspects. The defendants face up to twelve years in prison with confiscation of property.

According to law enforcement, the Boyko brothers and their accomplices are involved in the theft of over 240 million hryvnias allocated for the construction of a trunk water supply from the Ingulec River to the Southern Reservoir, which has still not been put into operation. The scheme involved inflating prices for materials and their subsequent resale.
