Ukrainians will receive 6500 hryvnias: who will get winter assistance

From December 17, Ukrainians can apply for a one-time payment of 6,500 UAH under the 'Winter Support' program. This assistance is provided to the most vulnerable categories of the population, such as children from low-income families, persons with disabilities, and lonely pensioners.

• children from low-income families;
• children receiving housing assistance;
• children under guardianship or custody;
• children with disabilities in state family-type homes and foster families;
• persons with disabilities of the first group among prisoners of war;
• lonely pensioners with a pension of up to 9,444 UAH who receive a care allowance.

Applications can be submitted until December 17 through the Diia application or at the service centers of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. The funds received will be credited to the Diia card or another card with a special usage mode. The money can be spent within six months on the purchase of warm clothing, medicines, and vitamins.

In 2025, it is planned to allocate over 660 thousand payments, and the total budget of the 'Winter Support' program amounts to 4.3 billion UAH.
