Military registration from 2026: automatic registration after 18 and digital document

According to ХВИЛЯ: The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced new digital solutions for military registration that will be implemented in 2026. In particular, it is planned to introduce automatic registration for citizens upon reaching the age of 18. These innovations aim to simplify the military registration process and ensure greater accessibility of information for those liable for military service.

The head of the Main Department of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Defense, Oleg Berestovyi, noted that in 2026, automatic registration will be implemented in any life cases. This will significantly ease the procedures for young people who have reached adulthood. In addition to the automation of registration, the introduction of an electronic military registration document sharing is also planned, which will provide quick access to necessary information.

Improving the military registration system

Furthermore, the Ministry of Defense also plans to automate the consequences of violations of military registration rules. Oleg Berestovyi emphasized that the department has all the data on those liable for military service, but this is just the beginning in the direction of improving the military registration system in Ukraine. These innovations will contribute to enhancing the efficiency of military registration management and ensuring better service for citizens.
