Pensions for Disabled Military Personnel Will Continue: New Rules from the Pension Fund
Every serviceman who has received a disability has the opportunity to receive a pension. The more accurately the disability is assigned, the longer the pension will be allocated. On this subject, the press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine explained the conditions in an accessible form for everyone. According to the legislation, pensions in the case of disability are assigned for the entire term, and there are specific rules for military personnel adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Therefore, if a serviceman is on duty, the pension is paid during this period, and when the disability is reviewed, the pension will be allocated for the entire assigned term. This order also applies to employees of law enforcement agencies, rescuers, and other military formations. These pension appointment rules help Ukrainian military personnel and law enforcement officials to have a clearer understanding of how pension payments are regulated in case of disability.
