The second semifinalist of the club world championship has been determined

According to glavcom.ua: London's 'Chelsea' defeated Brazilian 'Palmeiras' in the quarterfinals of the 2025 club world championship with a score of 2:1, reports 'Glavkom'.

At the start of the match, Cole Palmer scored first, opening the scoring with the first shot from the center of the penalty area. After the break, 'Palmeiras' equalized thanks to a spectacular shot from Willian Estevan, and an own goal by the goalkeeper brought victory to the English club.

In the semifinals, 'Chelsea' will face another Brazilian club, 'Fluminense', which defeated 'Al-Hilal' from Saudi Arabia. Two more quarterfinal matches are scheduled for Saturday, July 5.

'Dynamo' will play against the winner of the pair 'Zalgiris' - 'Hamrun Spartans' in the second qualifying round of the Champions League. The first matches of this stage will take place in July, starting a new season for 'Dynamo'.
