Ukraine's U-20 Basketball Team Composition Determined for the European Championship

On Saturday, July 12, the men's U-20 basketball team of Ukraine will begin its journey at the European Championship in Division A. According to information from FBU, the EuroBasket-2025 tournament for youth men's national teams will take place in Heraklion, Greece, from July 12 to 20. Our team made it to Group C, where they will compete against Belgium, Germany, and Italy.

The team arrived in Greece today, July 10. Before the tournament in Heraklion begins, the players will conduct several training sessions prior to the first match, which will take place this Saturday at 18:00 - against Germany.

In the group stage, 16 participants play a single round, after which all teams advance to the round of 16. At this stage, our team will play against teams from Group D. Also in Group D will be France, Serbia, Slovenia, and Iceland. The winners of the round of 16 matches will continue to fight for medals, while the losing teams will have a chance to remain in Division A or be relegated to Division B. In the European Basketball Championship for U-20, the Ukrainian team will compete in a group with Belgium, Germany, and Italy.
