According to glavcom.ua: The football club 'PSG' became the winner of the Intercontinental Cup, defeating the Brazilian 'Flamengo' in a penalty shootout. Midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored a goal, while Ukrainian Illya Zabarnyi remained on the bench. The match ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of 'PSG.'
In turn, the Ukrainian national football team continues the fight for a spot in the World Cup, having won against Iceland with a score of 2:0. Goals were scored by Zubkov and Hutsuliak. The next opponent for the Ukrainians will be the Swedish national team, and if successful, they will face the winner of the pair Poland - Albania in the final.
