On the night of August 28, explosions occurred in the town of Petrov Val, located in the Volgograd region. Eyewitnesses reported that drones attacked the local railway substation. A fire broke out at the scene. Recently, units of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with other parts of the Armed Forces of Russia, struck an oil refinery in the Samara region. Moreover, drones have already attacked refineries in the Rostov and Bryansk regions, as well as in Volgograd. This could lead to a decrease in Russia's profits from oil sales at reduced prices due to sanctions, threatening to deplete the sources of wealth in the country.
