Russian troops are attacking in the Kherson direction

According to Colonel Vladislav Voloshin, spokesperson for the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, the occupiers have improved their actions on the Dnipro islands, trying to seize footholds on the Belohrudov and Bolshoy Potemkin islands.

Russians are, as always, active near the Antonov bridges, including the railway and road. They are also active around the Zabych island

Speaking about the tactics of Russian airborne groups, Voloshin reported that they send groups of five to storm, attempting to occupy positions on the islands. In addition, the Russians have reinforced their ranks with experts in electronic warfare and fighters to counter Ukrainian kamikaze drones.

The purpose of the attacks

According to the spokesperson, the increase in attacks on the islands indicates the intention of Russian forces to create positions for future operations on the right bank of the Dnipro.
