Russia is preparing a large campaign for the anniversary of the Baptism of Rus – once again to rewrite history to suit itself.
According to hvylya.net: The Center for National Resistance reported on the preparation of the event 'Russia – My History. Chersonese', where residents of the temporarily occupied territories will be brought to multimedia exhibitions to impose the Kremlin's version of the past.
'However, modern Russia has nothing to do with the baptism of Kievan Rus. This is not about history, it is about justifying aggressive politics. The enemy is trying to reinforce control over the temporarily occupied territories through manipulation and pseudo-history,' the Center emphasized.
Russia plans to hold the event 'Russia – My History. Chersonese' for the anniversary of the Baptism of Rus, aimed at rewriting history and imposing the Kremlin's version of the past. In response, the Center for National Resistance pointed out Russia's attempts to use pseudo-history to justify its aggressive policies and attempts to consolidate control over the occupied territories.
