Minister of Energy German Halushchenko reported that the occupiers' strike on the power transmission line provoked a blackout at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. This line connects the temporarily occupied ZNPP with the energy system of Ukraine, which is necessary for ensuring radiation safety.

“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the ZNPP has already experienced a complete blackout eight times and has repeatedly been on the brink of a blackout. This is yet another act of nuclear terror by the Russians!”
