According to Главком: As the full-scale war in Ukraine entered its 1,463rd day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released updated figures on Russian military losses for the morning of February 25, 2026. These cumulative figures represent a significant drain on Russian military capacity over the course of the prolonged conflict.

The total personnel losses for Russia are now approximately 1,262,490, an increase of 1,070 from the previous report. Losses in major equipment categories are as follows:

  • 11,701 tanks (+3)
  • 24,091 armored combat vehicles (+5)
  • 37,589 artillery systems (+29)
  • 1,655 multiple launch rocket systems (+1)
  • 1,305 air defense systems (no change)

In terms of aerial assets, Russian losses include:

  • 435 fixed-wing aircraft (no change)
  • 348 helicopters (no change)
  • 146,457 operational-tactical level drones (+886)

The naval component remains unchanged, with 29 ships/boats and 2 submarines recorded as lost. The count of vehicles and fuel tankers increased by 145 to a total of 79,971, while special equipment rose by 1 unit to 4,075.
