According to glavcom.ua: The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that as of the morning of July 3, 2025, updated data on Russian occupiers' losses has been provided.

Total losses of the Russian army during the war are:

• personnel - about 1,023,090 (+1000) people;
• tanks - 10,986 (+1) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 22,936 (+5) units;
• artillery systems - 29,815 (+21) units;
• MLRS - 1,427 (+0) units;
• anti-aircraft systems - 1,191 (+0) units;
• airplanes - 420 (+0) units;
• helicopters - 340 (+0) units;
• operational-tactical UAVs - 43,098 (+85) units;
• cruise missiles - 3,436 (+0) units;
• ships/boats - 28 (+0) units;
• submarines - 1 (+0) unit;
• automotive equipment and fuel tanks - 53,887 (+101) units;
• special equipment - 3,922 (+1) unit.

Occupiers' fleet activity as of July 3

• In the Black Sea, one enemy ship, carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles are absent;
• in the Sea of Azov, enemy ships are absent;
• in the Mediterranean Sea, three enemy ships, one carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, total salvo of up to four missiles.

During the day through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea passed:

• four vessels, one of which continued to move towards the Bosphorus Strait;
• seven vessels into the Sea of Azov, six of which were moving from the Bosphorus Strait.

It is unusual that a full-scale war has been ongoing in Ukraine for 1,226 days.
