Russia's losses in the war as of September 5, 2025
According to glavcom.ua: The information about the losses of the Russian occupiers was updated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the morning of Friday, September 5, 2025.
As of September 5, the Russian Federation has lost in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel ‒ about 1,086,220 (+810) persons,
- tanks ‒ 11,159 (+2) units,
- combat armored vehicles ‒ 23,243 (+2) units,
- artillery systems – 32,435 (+50) units,
- MLRS – 1,480 (+1) units,
- air defense systems ‒ 1,216 (+1) units,
- aircraft ‒ 422 (+0) units,
- helicopters ‒ 341 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical drones ‒ 56,267 (+222),
- cruise missiles ‒ 3,686 (+0),
- ships/boats ‒ 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) unit,
- automotive and fuel trucks ‒ 60,831 (+139) units,
- special equipment ‒ 3,956 (+0).
It should be noted that the war in Ukraine has been going on for 1,290 days.
