As of the morning of Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the data on the losses of Russian occupiers in the war.
- personnel - about 1028610 (+1070) people;
- tanks - 10995 (+0) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 22967 (+4) units;
- artillery systems - 30034 (+41) units;
- MLRS - 1434 (+2) units;
- air defense systems - 1191 (+0) units;
- aircraft - 420 (+0) units;
- helicopters - 340 (+0) units;
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 44230 (+172) units;
- cruise missiles - 3436 (+0) units;
- ships/boats - 28 (+0) units;
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit;
- vehicles and fuel tankers - 54456 (+86) units;
- special equipment - 3927 (+0).
Activity of enemy fleet
- No enemy ships are present in the Black Sea;
- No enemy ships are observed in the Sea of Azov either;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are two enemy ships, one of which is a carrier of 'Caliber' cruise missiles, with a total salvo of up to four missiles.
Over the course of the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the following passed through the Kerch Strait:
- In the Black Sea - 7 vessels, six of which continued moving towards the Bosporus Strait;
- In the Sea of Azov - 6 vessels, one of which was moving from the Bosporus Strait.
It should be noted that the Ukrainian war has been ongoing for 1231 days.
