As of the morning of Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the data on the losses of Russian occupiers in the war.
  • personnel - about 1028610 (+1070) people;
  • tanks - 10995 (+0) units;
  • armored fighting vehicles - 22967 (+4) units;
  • artillery systems - 30034 (+41) units;
  • MLRS - 1434 (+2) units;
  • air defense systems - 1191 (+0) units;
  • aircraft - 420 (+0) units;
  • helicopters - 340 (+0) units;
  • operational-tactical level UAVs - 44230 (+172) units;
  • cruise missiles - 3436 (+0) units;
  • ships/boats - 28 (+0) units;
  • submarines - 1 (+0) unit;
  • vehicles and fuel tankers - 54456 (+86) units;
  • special equipment - 3927 (+0).

Activity of enemy fleet

  • No enemy ships are present in the Black Sea;
  • No enemy ships are observed in the Sea of Azov either;
  • In the Mediterranean Sea, there are two enemy ships, one of which is a carrier of 'Caliber' cruise missiles, with a total salvo of up to four missiles.

Over the course of the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the following passed through the Kerch Strait:
