According to glavcom.ua: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported new losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of July 9, 2025.

According to the latest information, Russia has lost the following in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel - about 1029660 people;
- tanks - 11000 units;
- combat vehicles - 22969 units;
- artillery systems - 30102 units;
- MLRS - 1434 units;
- air defense systems - 1193 units;
- airplanes - 420 units;
- helicopters - 340 units;
- operational-tactical UAVs - 44457;
- cruise missiles - 3436;
- ships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- automotive and fuel trucks - 54575 units;
- specially designed equipment - 3929 units.
Occupant fleet activity as of July 8
- No enemy ships are present in the Black Sea;
- No enemy ships are present in the Sea of Azov;
- Two enemy ships were registered in the Mediterranean Sea, one carrying a Kalibr cruise missile, which launched up to four missiles in rapid fire.
In recent days, through the Kerch Strait, the following has been identified in the exclusive interests of the Russian Federation:
- In the Black Sea - 7 ships, of which four headed towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- In the Sea of Azov - 5 ships, of which four were also moving toward the Bosphorus Strait.
It is noteworthy that this is the 1232nd day of active hostilities within the framework of the Ukrainian conflict.
