Russia launched a massive attack with drones and missiles: details of the attack

Currently, our emergency services are working at night in areas affected by Russian strikes. This vile shelling has resulted in dozens of injuries, among them children and a pregnant woman. Unfortunately, four people have died. I express my condolences to the relatives and loved ones of all the victims.

About 430 drones and 18 missiles were launched, including ballistic and aeroballistic missiles. This was a specially calculated attack aimed at inflicting maximum harm on people and civilian infrastructure. Destruction occurred in several dozen high-rise buildings in Kyiv, and the Embassy of Azerbaijan was damaged by debris from the 'Iskander' missile. The main direction of the attack was Kyiv, as well as attacks in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions. According to preliminary data, the Russians fired the 'Zircon' missile in Sumy region.

The Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and the commander of the Air Force Anatoliy Kryvonozhko have already reported on the progress of rescue operations and the results of air defense. Ukraine responds to these strikes with long-range power, and the world must stop these attacks on lives through sanctions. It is also important to collaborate with partners to strengthen air defense systems. Europe and the USA can play a crucial role in this process, and we hope for real solutions.

It is necessary to strengthen protection with additional systems and interceptor missiles. This is a step forward in ensuring safety for our citizens and territory. We thank everyone who is providing assistance in these difficult times and dedicating themselves to the defense of the country.

After the brutal Russian shelling, our emergency services are working directly on the ground, helping the wounded and coordinating rescue operations.
