Taras Didych, Kyiv Region Community Head, Killed in Russian Strike

Dmytrivka held a farewell ceremony for Didych on August 31, with around one hundred residents gathering to honor him. He was laid to rest in the cemetery of his native village. Didych had spent over 30 years living and working in the Dmytrivka community, making his sudden death a profound loss for those who knew him.

By August 30, authorities had recorded damage to 225 private houses, 14 apartment buildings, and numerous social, administrative, commercial, and industrial facilities. Law enforcement has opened a pretrial inquiry into potential official negligence under Article 367 of Ukraine's Criminal Code.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has responded to the tragedy, and the government intends to draw on its reserve fund to provide aid to those affected in the Bucha district.
