According to ХВИЛЯ: A Russian attack on the Bucha district in the Kyiv region has left 27 people dead. Taras Didych, the head of the Dmytrivka community, was among the victims. Didych had led the community for more than 30 years after taking office in 1994, and he was one of the first to arrive at the site of the attack. In total, 42 people were wounded, including four children; seven of them required hospitalization. The Kyiv region has faced repeated Russian strikes throughout the full-scale war, and this assault is another devastating example for local residents.

A total of 381 people were evacuated from the affected area, 59 of them children. An operational headquarters was set up in Dmytrivka to coordinate the response and handle residents' requests. Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, said the center offered hot food and psychological support. Search and rescue efforts, as well as firefighting operations, were continuing, with medical services working at the scene.

"The death toll in the Bucha district is already known to be 27. Unfortunately, this number may not be final," said Tymur Tkachenko.

Tkachenko stressed that the damage inflicted on the community was still being evaluated. According to preliminary findings, around 50 residential buildings have been damaged to varying degrees. Temporary accommodation was available for residents whose homes were affected. "We are working alongside the community on the ground and will provide updates without delay," he added.
