Veteran works in the Migration Service: the story of Anton Savelyev
Ветеран, звільнивший Херсон, сьогодні служить в Міграційній службі: історія Антона Савельєва.

Anton Savelyev has been working in the Migration Service of Mykolaiv region for only 4 months, but he has already proven himself to be a responsible and competent specialist. He previously served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, defending the south and east of our country, participated in the liberation of Kherson and Donetsk. During this time, he sustained two injuries and lost comrades, but despite everything, he returned to service.

After a difficult rehabilitation, he found a new path - a job in the State Migration Service thanks to the program 'Ministry of Interior: Your Support', which helps military personnel discharged for health reasons adapt to civilian life. Anton underwent training, figured out the nuances of the new job, and now his 'weapon' is a computer, laws, and regulatory legal acts.

'I cannot say it was easy, but the new position gives me the opportunity to contribute to the country's well-being again,' Anton shares.

He addresses his comrades: 'Do not stop, even when it’s hard. Grab the opportunities - they are there!' And to all Ukrainians: 'Be patient and support veterans, help them adapt and start a new life.'

Anton is an example of courage, resilience, and indomitability. For his military merits, he received the awards 'Golden Cross', 'Branch of Oak Leaves', and the 'Defender of the Motherland' medal. But besides that, he is also a simple, sincere man: a fisherman, a chess player, and a loving father, for whom family and friends always come first.

Thank you, Anton, for your service and for continuing to defend Ukraine even in a new format! #MigrationService #FaceOfMigrationService
