According to hvylya.net: The German Minister of Defense, Boris Pistorius, spoke about negotiations with American partners on acquiring Patriot systems to strengthen Ukraine's air defense. The German defense ministry is looking for new ways to assist, as owning its own resources is limited.

Germany cannot transfer its Patriot systems to Ukraine due to military operations, so Berlin decided to acquire two systems directly from the U.S. to assist the country. In this way, the Germans will bypass the limitations of their own arsenal and continue to support Ukraine.

“This is really too little, especially considering NATO's goals regarding the capabilities we need to achieve. We certainly cannot give more”

On the other hand, Germany refuses to supply long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine, despite the Russian shelling and the country's need for such weapons. Nevertheless, cooperation between Berlin and Washington in the field of defense continues with the aim of supporting Ukraine in difficult times.

Ukraine has expressed interest in purchasing Patriot systems to enhance its defense capabilities, and Germany is looking for ways to assist the country in this matter through cooperation with its American partners. Hopes for support in hard times are not lost.
