Russians shelled Zaporizhzhia at night: two injured and a damaged house

According to glavcom.ua: In the evening of December 16, hostile troops attacked the regional center of Zaporizhzhia. The consequences of this attack were revealed by the State Emergency Service representatives, as reported by the publication 'Hlavkom'.

As a result of the shelling, a private residential building was damaged, but no fire occurred. Also, two people were injured: a 37-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman. The number of victims is being clarified.

Rescue Workers' Response

Emergency Service pyrotechnics inspected the area for possible explosive objects. Eight rescuers and two units of Emergency Service equipment were dispatched to the scene to carry out rescue operations.

Previous Drone Attack

Earlier that morning, hostile forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones, resulting in injuries to three individuals. As a result of the fire caused by the attack, apartments on two floors of a residential building were destroyed, and four households were damaged. Residents of the building were evacuated by rescuers.

The attack on Zaporizhzhia is part of a nationwide conflict ongoing in eastern Ukraine. Hostile actions pose constant threats to the peaceful population and require a prompt response from Ukrainian rescuers and military.
