Meeting of Svitlana Vorobei and Ihor Marchuk
According to Мінфін: Deputy Ihor Marchuk and Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine Svitlana Vorobei discussed important issues regarding the implementation of VAT for single tax payers. Special attention was paid to simplifying tax procedures and automating processes.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that the state seeks to simplify the lives of entrepreneurs as much as possible through process automation and avoidance of risks associated with changes in tax legislation.
"We listened carefully to officials regarding their fears and problems with the implementation of new rules. Our goal is to create conditions for honest entrepreneurs, simplify tax administration, and support business without excessive pressure," said Svitlana Vorobei.
Automatic registration and service approach
The Ministry of Finance and the tax service are working on a mechanism for automatic registration of VAT payers for PEs who, according to the law, must become payers of this tax.
Paper applications will be reduced: automatic registration of VAT payers will be introduced based on available data, which simplifies the procedure for both businesses and tax authorities.
In addition, improvements in the service approach to accounting are planned. The state has taken on part of the administrative responsibilities to reduce the difficulties for entrepreneurs related to VAT taxation.
During the transitional period for training and system upgrades, no sanctions will be applied for mistakes in tax reporting.
Through the meeting between Svitlana Vorobei and Ihor Marchuk, agreements were made on joint measures to simplify taxation for businesses and avoid administrative difficulties in implementing new tax rules.
