Deputy Head of SAP Sinyuk Resigns: Reasons and Consequences

Deputy Prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) Andriy Sinyuk has decided to leave his position of his own accord. According to information from SAP, the resignation took place on November 14, 2025. The head of SAP emphasized that he does not have the authority to decide on the dismissal of his deputies; such a decision is made by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

It was also stated that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is conducting an investigation regarding a possible leak of confidential information. An internal investigation has been initiated by the head of SAP.

At the moment, the situation is developing, and it will clarify Sinyuk's attachment to the declaration. It is noted that NABU and SAP have already recorded the activity of a criminal group that influenced the operations of state enterprises, including JSC 'Energoatom'.
