Ukraine and France Create Joint Production of Air Defense: Agreement Details

According to Мін. Оборони: Serhii Boiev, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, met with the French Defense Attaché Colonel Frédéric Balem and Thomas Moreau, head of the Representation of the Group of French Defense and Security Enterprises of Land and Air Sector (GICAT) in Ukraine.

Cooperation on the Horizon

During the meeting, cooperation between Ukrainian and French defense industry enterprises was discussed, including: production of air defense and missile systems, repair of military equipment, testing of innovations, supply of components, and development of new weapon models taking into account the experience of modern conflicts.

Representatives of the French side confirmed their readiness for joint implementation of new production projects in Ukraine.

The meeting between the Deputy Minister of Defense and representatives of France indicates the intention of both countries to strengthen cooperation in the field of defense and security, which may lead to the introduction of new joint projects in these strategic sectors.
