The Deputy Minister of Ukraine visited Slovenia: what decisions were made for the communities

The Deputy Minister Oleksiy Riabykin visited Slovenia, where he attended a meeting with Minister of Cohesion and Regional Development Aleksander Jevšek. Issues of cooperation in the field of regional development and European integration were discussed, as well as the exchange of experiences in implementing the EU cohesion policy.

Oleksiy Riabykin emphasized the importance of borrowing the EU's experience for Ukraine, which is actively working on Eurointegration, and thanked Slovenia for its willingness to share experiences and support on the path of reforms.

'Slovenia is an example of effective work with communities and European integration. Such cooperation will help our communities become stronger and integrate into Europe more quickly,' emphasized the Deputy Minister.

Signed Memorandum of Cooperation

Minister Jevšek noted that the memorandum of ministries creates a foundation for joint initiatives in the field of regional development and Eurointegration.

The support for Ukrainian communities in getting through the heating season, the organization of study trips to Slovenia, and a possible delegation visit to Ukraine were discussed. Information about negotiations with the EU and experience in implementing cohesion policy was also presented.

Ukraine and Slovenia plan to actively cooperate to promote regional development and support communities.
