The Ukrainian national freestyle wrestling team took third place at the U20 European Championship

, our team took third place overall. Ukrainian athletes achieved such high results:

• Viktor Borohan (65 kg) – "silver".
• Andrii Shokaliuk (61 kg) – "bronze".

Unfortunately, the Ukrainian team only lost to Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Impressive achievements in Greco-Roman wrestling

It is also worth noting the huge success of the Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestling team at this year's U20 European Championship. Our athletes won third place overall and received seven medals:

• Yegor Yakushenko (97 kg) and Vladislav Pokotilo (67 kg) – silver medals.
• Pavel Toriannik (87 kg), Ivan Yankovsky (130 kg), Maksut Sultанов (60 kg), Anatolii Pasnak (72 kg), and Kirill Shnyriov (82 kg) – bronze medalists.

We remind you that Ukrainian athletes are also impressing with their results in diving. At the European Junior Championship 2025 in the team standings, the Ukrainian team took first place, winning 12 medals: 6 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze. Our athletes continue to take pride in great achievements on the international sports stage.
