Strengthening the positions of Ukrainian troops

According to ХВИЛЯ: Volodymyr Zelensky after his visit to the front reported that the positions of the Ukrainian troops in Donetsk will be reinforced by two updated groups under the command of Denis Prokopenko and Andriy Biletsky. Andriy Biletsky was awarded the Gold Star of the Hero of Ukraine on the same day. As part of determining the next steps, Zelensky, together with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Dryapaty, the General Staff, and Minister of Defense Yevhenii Khmara discussed relevant issues.

The report at the meeting was made by the commander of the Assault Forces, General Oleg Apostol. In the course of the discussion, Zelensky noted that

'our positions in Donetsk will be reinforced thanks to the two updated groups. The commanders will be the Hero of Ukraine Denis Prokopenko and the Hero of Ukraine Andriy Biletsky. Today I awarded Andriy with the Gold Star of the Hero.'

Second block of decisions

The second block of decisions concerns the Zaporizhzhia direction, particularly the introduction of ground robotic systems, a systematic approach to mid-strikes, and personnel changes. 'There will be more necessary means. This concerns NRM - we need solutions to have more production and more purchases. There will be decisions on a more systematic approach to mid-strikes,' the president emphasized.

Zelensky and Dryapaty also visited the command point of the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade in the Oleksandriisk direction, where they presented state awards to the soldiers. During the meeting with the commanders of brigades and battalions of the Air Assault Forces, issues of recruitment, mobilization, involving foreign volunteers, and providing units with weapons and equipment were discussed.

'Everything has been recorded, and the task of the Commander-in-Chief and the Minister of Defense is to promptly meet these soldiers' needs.'

Zelensky noted the importance of supporting the military.
