Zelensky ready to meet with Putin in Budapest: what he said
According to hvylya.net: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with NBC News about his readiness to meet with the presidents of the USA and Russia, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, in Budapest. Zelensky called on Trump to increase pressure on Putin, referring to him as 'the terrorist'.
'Putin is something like, he is stronger than HAMAS', Zelensky noted.
The President of Ukraine also called Putin a 'terrorist', but expressed his readiness for a direct meeting with him. Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine will not lose the war and pointed to the necessity of maintaining pressure on Russia to achieve a just peace.
'I understood Trump's public message as a call to end this war starting from the front line... Because he is a terrorist', the President of Ukraine said.
Zelensky also expressed a positive attitude towards the possibility of a meeting with Trump, Putin, and himself in Budapest, as well as commenting on Trump’s reaction to the call with Putin. He emphasized that Ukraine will not surrender, and the pressure on Russia will only increase to achieve peace.
