On the 11th Anniversary of Police Reform, Zelenskyy Honors Officers with State Awards

According to МВС: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has presented state awards to police officers and members of police units. The ceremony marks the 11th anniversary of the launch of the reformed Ukrainian police force, a milestone being observed this year. This reform, initiated in 2015, was designed to modernize law enforcement and build greater public trust.

And today, although there is still room to strengthen the work of the National Police, we can be grateful to those skilled individuals who serve in its structures, protecting our people, upholding law and order in Ukraine, and defending the country itself alongside other components of Ukraine’s Defense and Security Forces.' - Volodymyr Zelenskyy

The President highlighted the critical role of police officers’ actions and qualities-their courage and professionalism-which prove decisive in the most challenging times.

Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude to all Ukrainian police officers who refuse to give in to difficulties and challenges, and who strive to earn citizens’ trust in the police force.
