Ukrainian President Holds Calls with Middle Eastern Leaders

According to Главком: On March 4, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held telephone conversations with leaders from the Middle East, including Kuwait's Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. The primary focus of their discussion was regional security challenges, specifically attacks involving Iranian drones and missiles. Ukraine expressed its readiness to share its hard-earned experience to help protect civilian populations and stabilize the situation in Kuwait.

During the call, Zelenskyy noted that the Crown Prince provided him with detailed information about the criminal strikes launched by the Iranian regime against Kuwait, which have already involved hundreds of drones and ballistic missiles fired at the country's territory. The two sides agreed to hold appropriate consultations to discuss how Ukrainian expertise could assist in saving lives in Kuwait.

Ukraine's Commitment to Cooperation

Zelenskyy also held a meeting regarding the situation in the Middle East and the Gulf region, underscoring Ukraine's willingness to assist countries there in stabilizing the situation and protecting civilians from the threat of Iranian attack drones and missiles. This outreach comes as Ukraine continues to defend its own cities from similar aerial threats, giving it unique, real-world defensive knowledge.

This initiative highlights Ukraine's active foreign policy, which seeks to strengthen its position on the international stage and support allies in the face of growing security threats. Given Ukraine's extensive experience in countering aggression, cooperation with Middle Eastern nations could become a significant element in enhancing regional security and stability.
