Their efforts do more than just record the truth-they produce crucial evidence that substantiates Russian atrocities. Ukrainian journalists, in particular, are actively working to ensure accountability for every crime and strike Russia has committed against human life.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy underscored this point: 'Everything Ukrainian journalists capture is our truth about this war and proof of Russian crimes. It is essential that this work remains thorough and helps bring accountability for all of Russia’s attacks and offenses against life.'

These remarks highlight the critical role media professionals play in today’s information landscape. Foreign correspondents also contribute significantly, as their reporting helps Ukraine secure political support abroad.
