Zelensky to Appoint Head of Odesa Military Administration
Odesa is preparing to establish a city military administration that will be led by a new head. President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the city needs greater protection and support, which can be achieved through the creation of a military administration.

Response to the Petition Regarding Odesa
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the petition regarding the establishment of a city military administration in Odesa. He emphasized that decisions to create such structures are made on the recommendation of local authorities or military commands. The President has already appealed to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the head of the Odesa regional military administration.
Volodymyr Zelensky also signed a decree stripping several individuals with Russian passports of Ukrainian citizenship, among whom, according to journalists, are Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov, former MP Oleg Tsarev, and ballet dancer Serhiy Polunin.
The petition for the establishment of a city military administration in Odesa has received the president's support, indicating a serious approach to security and defense issues in the city. Additionally, a decision was made to strip some individuals with Russian citizenship of Ukrainian citizenship.
