Appointment of new heads of regional military administrations

According to Главком: President Volodymyr Zelensky announced decrees on January 8, 2025, regarding the appointment of new heads of regional military administrations in several regions of Ukraine, including Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and Chernivtsi. This decision was the result of a series of changes announced by the president on January 4, 2025, indicating that the changes would affect the Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Ternopil, and Chernivtsi regions.

On January 6, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine submitted proposals for the appointment of new heads in four of these regions. In particular, Natalia Zabolotna became the new head of Vinnytsia OVA, appointed on a permanent basis after the dismissal of Serhiy Borzov in June 2024. Oleksandr Hanzha was appointed head of Dnipropetrovsk OVA, while Vitaliy Dyakivnych became the new head of Poltava OVA. Vitaliy Dyakivnych was born on August 14, 1979, and Ruslan Osypenko, who was appointed head of Chernivtsi OVA, was born on August 5, 1978. It is important to note that Vyacheslav Nehoda, the former head of Ternopil OVA, was dismissed due to changes in the administration.
