Willingness for peace negotiations

According to ХВИЛЯ: Volodymyr Zelensky stated his readiness to sign documents regarding the peace plan in January 2023. As part of the preparation for this, several important meetings are planned aimed at discussing further steps for the recovery of Ukraine. A meeting of advisors will take place in January 2023, and a meeting of the leaders of the EU, the USA, and Ukraine is also planned.

In addition, Zelensky confirmed his readiness for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It is important to note that the planned meeting of the 'Coalition of Willing' will take place on January 3, 2023, in Ukraine. Leaders of the coalition countries will meet on January 6, 2023, in France to discuss further actions.

Economic plans and international reaction

Zelensky also discussed plans to triple the average salary of Ukrainians, emphasizing the importance of restoring jobs and life in Ukraine. He noted,

“The main thing is that the Russians are not afraid”

- Volodymyr Zelensky.

However, the President of Ukraine expressed concern about the reaction of some countries, such as India and the Emirates, to drone strikes on Putin's residence, which did not occur.

“It causes misunderstanding and unpleasant feelings”

- Volodymyr Zelensky.

Furthermore, he noted that Russia does not want to hold a referendum, as a ceasefire is necessary for this.

“Firstly, no one believes Putin”

- Volodymyr Zelensky, emphasizing the complexity of the situation and the need for further efforts to achieve peace.

These statements by the President of Ukraine indicate an activation of diplomatic efforts aimed at peaceful conflict resolution, as well as a desire to involve the international community in the recovery process of the country. Conversations with leaders of other states and readiness for a meeting with the Russian president may indicate attempts to find a compromise in the complex situation that has arisen in the region. The situation will remain tense, and further steps by the Ukrainian leadership may significantly affect the prospects for peace in the region.
