Zelensky on new sanctions against Russia: what will be the focus in 2025
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the holding of a strategic meeting during which tasks for the last quarter of 2025 were identified. The head of state emphasized the audit of the implementation of international agreements, the development of relations with the USA, European integration, and the activation of sanctions pressure on Russia.
In particular, Zelensky noted that important areas of work included the audit of the implementation of international agreements, the development of relations with the United States, and the deepening of European integration. He also highlighted the importance of the European direction of development, which encompasses not only negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union but also bilateral cooperation programs.
Zelensky also stressed the importance of directing frozen Russian assets to support Ukrainian defense and recovery after Russian strikes. In addition, he mentioned the preparation of a visit by a Ukrainian delegation to the USA and defense agreements with America.
The Ukrainian president emphasized important aspects of state policy aimed at strengthening international ties and ensuring national security.
