Zelensky on Negotiations in the USA and Strike on Energy: 90 Billion Euros and Consequences
Evening Address by the President of Ukraine
According to ХВИЛЯ: President Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening address on December 23 reported on the results of the Ukrainian delegation's negotiations in the USA, as well as on the new Russian strike on Ukraine's energy sector. These events occur on the 1399th day of the ongoing war in the country.
Zelensky noted that Ukraine was offered a support package worth 90 billion euros, aimed at two years. This funding is expected to be an important element for supporting the country amid armed conflict. The president also emphasized the importance of deadlines:
- December 24 – the last day to apply for the winter support program, within which nearly 18 million Ukrainians have already submitted their applications.
International Support and Pressure on Russia
In his speech, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine continues to maintain constant contact with America and expects further cooperation. He also noted that if the situation does not improve, there needs to be additional pressure on Russia, as the world has all the tools for this.
'We continue to be in constant contact with America, we expect further work,' said the president.
'If not - there should be additional pressure on Russia, the world has all the tools to make the pressure work,' he added.
