According to glavcom.ua: In a speech for Fox News, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky explained that Tomahawk missiles can only be used for strikes on military facilities in Russia, with the aim of reducing its ability to continue aggressive warfare. Zelensky noted that Russia uses revenue from the sale of energy resources to finance military actions, and it is important to deprive it of this opportunity by limiting its military capacity. The president emphasized the need to use diplomatic means to pressure Russia.

In his statement, he pointed out that Ukraine has always avoided attacks on civilians: 'These are only military objects, exclusively military. We have never attacked civilians.'

Zelensky also discussed the possibility of transferring American Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine during a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. These missiles could give Ukraine the capability to strike deep within Russian territory, which is likely to force President Putin to come to the negotiation table. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov expressed outrage over the potential supply of such missiles to Ukraine, claiming that it would not change the situation on the front.

In his addresses, Zelensky emphasizes the necessity of protecting Ukraine's national interests and using peaceful means to resolve the conflict with Russia, avoiding attacks on the civilian population.
