Zelensky held a 'Technological Bet': priorities for drone production outlined

In June 2025, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the start of the Technological Bet aimed at developing the country's drone potential following the end of the full-scale war. The head of state emphasized that the production of modern drones for the army and territorial defense is of great importance.In his address, the president highlighted the necessity of producing drones that meet the needs at the front and for city protection, considering the capabilities of the opponent. The event already included support from the military command and relevant ministries, as well as discussions on financing and production capabilities.In addition, Zelensky announced plans to scale up the production of drones, particularly interceptors, in Ukraine to ensure the necessary growth of the industry. He also emphasized the effectiveness of meetings with Ukrainian diplomats at the 'G7' summit and expressed gratitude for the support in establishing European sanctions against Russia.
